Daniel O’Brien Resolves Disputed Insurance Claim

April , 2014 – The Firm successfully resolved an insurance contract dispute between its client, a condominium homeowners’ association, and the association’s insurance carrier regarding payment of a claim for roof damage resulting from a hail storm.  The settlement provided for payment of all funds necessary to replace the roof (based on the association’s expert) and more than half of the  attorneys’ fees incurred.  The funds paid to the client were approximately six times the payment offered to the client before the Firm was retained, and were more than five times the amount originally tendered by the carrier, after deducting attorneys’ fees.
